In this short Podcast Interview with MELTA’s Elie Hazeem, I share a few tales from my book Becoming Bavarian — from why German pubs and beer gardens beat their British counterparts hands down to the foreigners who just can’t stomach going nude in German saunas. Alongside some small talk, there's a scary tale of a Bavarian deer stalker who ended up stalking me instead, and an equally scary memory of my attempt to sound like a cool DJ on Radio NB88. Plus, of course, my favourite German word: genau.
Oh, and there’s a bonus: this little interview has brought my five-year blocking blackout to an end!
So watch out for some brand-new instalments of my Bavarian adventures. And who knows? There might even be a sequel. How about this: Carry On Becoming Bavarian 🇬🇧😉
